Shed Makers can arrange all of your drafting requirements or you can use your own draftsman. All engineered drawings of your building are included in the quoted price. There are some drawings which will be required for planning & building approvals which are not included in your shed price.

1. Site Plan
   1. Domestic - For planning approval a site plan with the exact location of your new building and all existing buildings is required. For simple applications some councils will accept a neatly hand drawn outline of your shed on an existing site plan. Some councils will require a more detailed drawing from a draftsman.
   2. Commercial - Will always require the services of a draftsman to supply detailed drawings of the position of buildings, drainage, landscaping, electrical & plumbing plans in some instances, fire requirements, energy ratings.
2. Building Application
In most instances the engineered drawings supplied will be sufficient to acquire a building licence. Some councils will require more detailed information which may result in extra drafting costs. In the Northern Territory there will definitely be extra drafting costs to acquire building approval as there is a lot more detail required and an authorised building surveyor must be appointed to ensure compliance with local building authorities.
